Lawler Steel Hair Salon in West Dulwich, London, provides a fantastic array of bespoke services for brides for those who want to treat themselves and look their best on their wedding day.

Opened on 7 May in 2010, Lawler Steele is the brainchild of Traci Lawler who has been in hairdressing for over 20 years, but had always dreamt of opening her own salon. Her ethos is to create a quality central London service but with local prices and a welcoming atmosphere.

She is backed by an experienced team including in-house wedding expert stylist Susan Gunning who, along with Traci, can give you an initial consultation for your wedding day (preferably a few months before the big day) and will take you on a personal journey to achieve the look you want! They both recommend that you bring in pictures of looks you want to achieve, together with any flowers or tiaras that you may want to experiment with.

On the day of the wedding, Traci is very happy for you to book out the entire salon so that you can take friends and family members who might also want their hair styled, which can give a warm and celebratory feel to the start of your wedding day. Bridesmaids young and old, and mother of the bride are all welcome, and Traci has a selection of toys to entertain even the youngest attendants at the wedding.

“We love it when people come in with champagne and all their hair accessories… we can close the salon to everyone else and the whole thing is dedicated to the bride and her friends, it’s like them having a private hair salon for the day and makes it much more relaxing for them”.
