They regularly entertain audiences at weddings, corporate events and private parties – and now specialise in large corporate awards dinners, proving they are just as comfortable performing energetic shows at large scale formal events as they are at bringing the house down at fun-packed parties. Hipster are young, but by no means inexperienced in their field. They have performed at many prestigious venues over the years, including: The Dorchester Hotel, The Savoy Hotel, Gordonstoun School, Eltham Palace, Kensington Roof Gardens, Euro Disney, Kew Gardens, Bath Assembly Rooms, Stationers Hall – London, Manchester Art Gallery, The Grand Hotel – Brighton plus Awards ceremonies - IVCA, HFMA, NABS, Channel 5 TV, Hewlett Packard, Total/Elf, Zafer Associates, Pine Cliffs Resort Portugal, Maris Interiors, NSPCC (flagship annual ball), Royal Bank of Scotland, Barclays, and Natwest – to name a few!! Internationally, Hipster have performed a 3-week stint in Singapore over New Year’s Eve 2002 at a live music venue called Muddy Murphy's. More recently they played at an awards ceremony in Portugal for Pearson Publishing, where they also provided walk-on music for all the presenters and award collections, a first for the band but definitely not the last! Now Pearson Publishing's band of choice, Hipster played at their awards ceremony in Prague in January 2004, at Euro Disney in 2005, and in Seville in January 2006. What Sort of Music Do They Play? Their extensive and varied setlist caters for all ages and includes a mixture of 60's, 70's, indie or modern songs by The Beatles, Robbie Williams, The Commitments, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Blur, Stone Roses, Andy Williams, plus many more! You can also choose from a selection of popular first dance songs and be absolutely sure that guests of all ages – from grunge kids to granny – will be up dancing and singing all night!
